Rainy Fu is an accomplished Creative Director based in New York with a stellar reputation in the music and entertainment industry. With over 10 years of experience, Rainy has honed her skills in Branding, Graphic Design, and Motion Graphics, initially specializing in luxury events and art direction for production houses. Her passion for the arts flourished from a young age in Singapore, contributing a unique cultural perspective to her work bridging Asia and the US.
In 2018, Rainy was ranked the global 4th Art Director of the year at The One Show, the pinnacle of recognition in advertising, design, and digital marketing. Her major clients include Givenchy, Hermes, Stella Artois, BMW, PepsiCO, AICP, National Geographic, Fox Sports Superbowl XLVIII & Spotify. Currently, she is a Senior Art Director at Spotify for the last 8 years specializing in Experiential Design, Motion Graphics & Branding with more than 110 projects under her belt.
Education and Early Beginnings:
Rainy's dedication was acknowledged in 2009 when she was chosen as one of the 20 National Scholars by the Singapore Media Authority. This prestigious recognition granted her a fully sponsored scholarship at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, Rainy earned Summa Cum Laude honors with an outstanding GPA of 3.85.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Rainy actively advocates for AAPI representation, diversity, and inclusion within the creative industry. She generously shares her insights and experiences as a guest speaker at NYP, Singapore Polytechnic, and SCAD, inspiring and empowering emerging designers. Rainy's commitment to fostering collaborations and contributing to the growth and inclusivity of the Singapore-New York design and arts community remains unwavering.

On her days off, she loves painting with watercolors and have a deep sense of fascination towards iconic food of NYC and historic institutions that made New York. In 2021, she also appeared in local news of Greenpoint, Brooklyn using her watercolor paintings to ‘PAY TRIBUTE TO LOCAL CULINARY ICONS’. Growing up with a family in the restaurant business really teaches you a thing or two about foods.

Ability to run and direct a photo/video shoot.
Oversee and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Direct a project working with an illustrator or design studio.
Fluent in Photoshop, Illustrator and Keynote with a deep understanding of motion and 3D.
